Pia Simonson is a Licensed Aesthetician and a Florida state of medicine board-certified electrologist in laser hair removal. She brings nearly 20 years of experience to her position as a clinical skin care specialist at Center For Sight. She uses today’s state-of-the-art technology, combined with the latest skin care techniques and products, to help patients achieve a more youthful appearance with smoother skin and enhanced features. Her services include customized facials, microdermabrasion, peels, electrolysis, laser hair removal and permanent make-up.

Pia’s extensive skin care education includes skin care training in both Sweden and the United States. She is trained in performing chemical peels by Physicians Choice of Arizona. She received specialized training in laser and light based hair removal and is both a certified medical electrologist, as well as a certified clinical electrologist. Pia is a member of the National Society of the Paramedical Esthetic Profession, and the Electrolysis Society of Florida. Pia is always interested in learning the newest techniques and modalities in skin care. She attends numerous conferences and workshops each year to ensure her patients receive the most effective treatment options available.

Prior to joining Center For Sight, Pia worked for a local dermatologist and for a well-known spa. She also owned and operated a private skin and electrolysis facility in Stockholm, Sweden, and was the vice president of the Swedish Beauty and Skin Care Association.

Pia moved to the United States from Sweden in 1991, and became a U.S. citizen in 2003. She lives in beautiful Sarasota and is the proud mother of two daughters. Her oldest practices law in Sarasota after studying at Vanderbilt University and Stetson Law School. Her youngest daughter practices veterinary medicine in Sarasota.
